Can I make a new feature request?  I would like to see a gold star in the site banner, that turns on and off with no pre-shared logic other than chimpanzees and dart boards.....
WU Gold Stars for everyone!

Some of the records are hard to believe... I cannot imagine some of the precipitation maximums...

Yes, some are hard to imagine.

Max wind (Doppler)
301mph
Moore, Oklahoma (US)
May 03, 1999

I guess this was an F5 back then?

Yup...

Quote
The May 3, 1999, tornado that hit Moore and nearby areas, which was rated an F5 on the Fujita scale, was the most costly tornado in history at the time (not adjusted for changes in inflation and population). The tornado, which occurred during the 1999 Oklahoma tornado outbreak, had an approximate recorded wind speed of 301 mph (484 km/h) as sampled by mobile Doppler radar, the highest wind speed ever recorded on Earth. It left a swath of destruction over 1 mile (1.6 km) wide at times, and 38 miles (60 km) long. It killed a total of 36 people in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. This was the deadliest F5 tornado recorded since the Delhi, Louisiana tornado in 1971 until this mark was eclipsed by several tornadoes in 2011.

Hi Steven,

looking at the errors in the console, most likely you are missing a slash in the path:

You probably have in setup:

path: "template"

There has to be a slash at the end, like this>

path: "/template/"

I have tested this Template on a other Domain and now i will it move to the rigth Domain.
What should I note to flawlessly move this?
So that all data then back are on the new domain. Without "/template"  only /

Hi Stefan,
when transfering to a different domain/URL, you just have to do the following:

1. make sure the MySQL details are the same (if not, change them accordingly)
2. change pageURL and path parameter in the setup to reflect new URL
3. make sure paths to files are correct (make sure that for example the path to the update file is correct - clientraw/realtime/ etc. or in case of Meteobridge, make sure the right address is in the control panel)
4. change CRON job URLs accordingly

Hi Jáchym,

I have changed the template in the Root folder. It works, but any graphics not show .The path is correct like: http://bswetter.de/icons/settings.png but is no showing.
Any Idea ? Or better a full new install in root path ?

Hi Klaus,
I know exactly why that happened. Please go to the wiki and in part C (Configuration), read very carefully the red box:

"NOTE FOR LINUX APACHE SERVERS!!!"

Your new server is probably Linux and so you will need to follow the instructions in that info box.

Meteotemplate - new plugin - Bio Indexes
« Reply #3891 on: August 29, 2016, 08:38:41 AM »

New plugin - Bio Indexes

Hi guys,

one of you suggested to me to make a plugin for calculating various bio indexes which try to reflect the level of comfot/discomfort based on the combined effect of air temperature and humidity.

This plugin therefore does exactly that – you can calculate the various indexes and it will also show you what that particular value means.

Main features
- heat index calculation
- summer simmer index calculation
- Scharlau winter index calculation
- Scharlau summer index calculation
- humidex calculation
- relative strain index calculation
- Thom's discomfort index calculation
- definitions and categories for each index

No need to set up, just upload to your plugins directory and update your menu.php.

Enjoy

Hi guys,
a little update for the Rain block. The new version shows the numbers as an animated gauge (circular gauge with animated wave effect).

Hi Jachym,
I remember when you first discussed a little over a year ago changing your old website, that you customized for a few other users, and making a new template and had many ideas for plugins and I think you mentioned like 60 or 70.  And I thought, yes Jachym is very talented and ambitious, with just a little exaggeration...  I am now at 100 plugins and 107 blocks and all up to date once again

I like the updated rain block...

Paul

I had forgotten to ask, it is possible in the current conditions (or today report), the current snow height installed, so in addition to wind and rain, etc.
This is important for the Winter.
Perhaps switched off for who Users do not want (i want if its possible)
