Title: A little forest in my Stratus funnel
Post by: SLOweather on November 02, 2016, 04:31:52 PM
I replaced my old Stratus gauge with a new one, and found little lichen sprouts growing in the old one.

And check out that crazing...

I just cleaned out our rain gutters and similarly found Mesquite "sprouts" growing out of the decaying mess!

"I replaced my old Stratus gauge with a new one,"

From where?

My treated 4 x 4 with 2 Stratus gauges mounted back to back, rotted and fell, breaking both gauges. I've got to replace.

Had to be pretty old for a treated 4X4 to rot.
