How can I stretch out the Flyout-Menu on VWS World Template?
« on: March 06, 2011, 03:28:12 PM »
For the sake of my icons in my list of affiliated sites, those icons are being squished because it looks odd having those icons hang outside of the flyout- menu border. How do I stretch out the flyout-menu so that I can fit icons in there better?

Hi Andy,

While it's possible to resize the 120px width of the flyout-menu, I don't recommend it as it will reduce the available space in the main-copy section to less than 620px for things like the dashboard (in the 800px narrow view).

How about using width=/height= on the image statements for your affiliates to reduce their display to 120px wide instead?  If you do it proportionally, the display will look natural and you won't have a tricky fiddling job with the CSS to do.

I am still having difficulties figuring out how to stretch out the menu bar on my website. I meant the menu bar and not the flyout menu. I cannot seem to find the control to change that.
