Where's Arthur?  ;)

The last ice storm we had was worse as far as debris... but a little bit further West would've been a different story.

Yeah, life happens... shifting interests, quiet weather, stable system-although my wx netbook had a really noisy fan, so I swapped in a spare desktop and took apart the net book--and so it still sits on my dining room table... lol

Some (most?) of my bookmarked personal wx stations have disappeared over the past few years...

I think there's a sweet spot in hobby/forum popularity, participation, and innovation as the "toys" become more affordable, the technology begins to peak in maturity, and "everyone" else discovers it. Seems that at some point the excitement wanes though.

And I've been trying to reinvigorate my ham radio activities-which can be weather related!

That's my story (excuse) and I'm sticking to it! :grin:
