If you don't already know, WXMesg will rebroadcast via several means including email.  Not sure about Text messages.


The Al Roker channel should just shut down.  It's essentially worthless.

Many US Cell Carriers have assigned email addresses for SMS.  I know for AT&T it's 5551234567@txt.att.net (first part is the 10 digit cell number).  Not sure how the other carriers do it, but that's how I set my text messages using WxMesg.  Since I have a smartphone I also have certain kinds of messages sent there via the email accounts I have setup on it.  The more serious ones get the text message attention.
