VWS Data Migration Question
« on: February 06, 2015, 08:27:35 PM »
My father-in-law (who also has a Davis station) has VWS data going back for years. But he likes my MeteoBridge setup, and the fact that I don't have to have an application running 24/7 on my PC.

He's asked me what I suggest he do with his data... and I'm not really sure what to tell him. Maybe just "archive it and keep it!" :)

Export from VWS into an SQL database that MB can write to via PUSH services.

That's what I'd do if I were him... but he doesn't have an SQL DB. :(

If he has a computer it takes about 5 minutes to install one.
