Dayton, OH Area Tornadoes
« on: May 30, 2019, 09:19:31 PM »
Southwest Ohio/Dayton was hit pretty hard with tornadoes....13 this Monday!

I live northwest of Dayton. I had an EF0 and EF2 hit very close by...kind of damaging distance.

I am very lucky that my home is still very livable and not too many trees damaged. However, I am need of a new roof on my home and one outbuilding. Many lost their homes...for the lucky, the new look around here is "tarped roof."

This lists the tornadoes:

*Edit...now 14 confirmed and one upgraded to an EF4: https://www.wdtn.com/news/local-news/6th...reak/2036443902

After about a month...finally getting four roofs replaced...had another strong storm come through during roof replacement and finished off the gutters that were still hanging on...feel very lucky to have it being done as most contractors are quoting early fall now to get to most projects.
