This is just a guess, but perhaps WD restarted while you were gone. In the past I've had problems with WD's ftpupd32 not getting properly set up upon a restart unless I go into 'Control Panel'-'FTP/Internet Setup' and the 'Webfiles Upload and Time' tab to click 'Upload All Now'. I ALWAYS go there and click the 'Upload All Now' button after a restart because it's a cheap insurance policy against Murphy's Law.
Fred,If you are using Avast for AV, you'll probably find ftpupd.exe quarantined. That happened to me about 2 days ago.- Jim
