Title: weather.us ad in Weatherwise
Post by: miraculon on May 27, 2017, 08:47:01 AM
There was an ad for weather.us in the Weatherwise magazine that just came the other day. I decided to check it out and it looks like they have a lot of good info.

Here is the link: https://weather.us/ (https://weather.us/)

Very interesting in comparing the various models...

And they even have Komoka available.

Looks like they may be using Blitzortung Lightning data.

He is. Be nice if he acknowledged it instead of hinting at it. I sure hope he's got proper access credentials. Might get surprised.

Hope he got permission to use it. Yes, I agree, he needs to acknowledge Blitzortung.

If it really is BO data then this is absolutely ridiculous. This guy took open-source data, deleted credits and put his own copyright on it....

I apologize. I mis-interpreted some of the source code... and jumped to an erroneous conclusion.
Blitzortung developers say is NOT Blitzortung data,.,.. sourced from Denmark.
