LOL, thanks guys, yes I did turn 30 this Monday, but just like Im not a big fan of any Christmas or New Year's celebrations, Im not a big fan of celebrating b-days, so I was glad no-one noticed, and told everyone in my family to just ignore it :D

I have to say it feels a bit strange with that 3 now... I liked 2 in the front so I guess I will now have to wait another 170 years... I already started counting down :D

Jeff, the problem with the gauges (and icons) is most likely due to the cross-origin policy error. Make sure you apply both the bug fixes packages for version 11

Oh, maybe one more thing I need to check... rounding...

Edit: no, that should actually be ok... 2 d.p.

Watch it and if it happens again let me know.

Oddly my rain block is showing 0.0 fit today which is not correct.  Everything else shows .25....

Update the rain block,  even if you are using the latest version

I'll try that.  Right now I'm trying to figure out why my cronjobs keep failing from cronjob.org with 404 or 530 error.  When I manually click the link it seems to work.  This is nuts.

Just emailed you, this is indeed strange, the manual trigger of the CRON works, I would delete the cron-job.org CRON and re-create it

Trying that now.  Oddly a trial of setCronjob seems to be working so indeed it may just be a Cronjob issue.

Meteotemplate - Block Update - Dynamic Text 2.0
« Reply #5936 on: February 26, 2017, 10:02:50 AM »
Block Update - Dynamic Text 2.0

Hi guys,

I have completely redesigned this block and made it much more sophisticated.
In this block, you now have many possible conditions/triggers. You first select if you want to enable this trigger. If yes, you provide a condition and corresponding message.

This is how the block then works:
- checks which conditions are enabled
- checks which of the enabled conditions should be activated based on the condition specified
- for the activated conditions it will show a message (there are also wild cards that would be replaced by particular values) you provide in the block settings and for some you can also specify icons

If there are no messages to display, the block will simply completely disappear from the homepage and only show when there is something to display.

Conditions include:
- specific weather conditions based on station data (temperature -above, below, change, humidity, pressure changes, precipitation, rain rate, etc etc.)
- station online/offline
- minutes before/after sunrise/sunset
- specific time of the day
- specific day of the year
- specific date

The demo in this case is not very useful, but you will see exactly how it works when you install it and are able to access the block settings.

Enjoy

Hi Jachym,
The dynamic block is fun...  I presume the original images and scripts folders can be deleted as well as the text file.

Hi Paul,
yes everything from the original block can be deleted, basically this was originally a new block but I then realized it does pretty much everything the original dynamic text block did and much more and so I deleted the original and renamed this one to dynamic text. It is a new block, with an old name :)

does the Dynamic text block need to be set up differently for it to disappear when not reporting anything, I have a blank block showing ?

replace all the original dynamicText block files with the new 2.0 version. Then go through the setup. You should never see a completely blank block. Depending on how you set it up, it will either show some messages or hide itself.

Not having any luck setting up theDynamic Text 2.0 block, I've changed all permissions to 777 and disabled Feels Like and Dew Point in the setup, and clicked the save button, but they are still showing.Looked at the settings.txt file and it 'seems' to show false but not positive I'm looking at the right field!

Correct!
No rush whenever you get a chance to look at it is fine with me, just wanted to report it!

ARGH...  OK - I feel better now...

Anyone have any idea what would cause the alldata table to stop updating?  My clientraw is fine but apparently the sql stopped updating suddenly.  I did go thru the main setup and the table connection is absolutely fine.  I am about to delete the entire table and just start over.  Im completely burnt out.

Jeff,
My database update started acting up a few weeks ago.  I updated to the latest update.php which I hadn't done before. Then I went to the administration page and under database update setup the paths and has worked fine since.

Not even close.  Its odd.  The clientraw is updating, the subtables - bloom sky, indoor, etc are updating in the tables - but the alldata is not.  Been stuck since 12:40 EST...
