My apologies if this has been asked & answered...I did a very quick search for APRS and FINDU but did not find anything to speak of.  And...if this is not the correct forum...please just point me to a more appropriate site.  Thanks!

I'm about to finish up a remote APRS based station which will send data to FINDU.COM.  My end goal is to have a simple weather display on a website using PHP5 & mySql (If required).  Are there any pre-existing scripts available?  I'm not a programmer, but I can modify scripts (usually) if it does not involve too much.

My solution does NOT utilize a PC or any Windows based software...I'm using a small hardware circuit (the WXTRAK from byonics.com) to directly feed data into APRS and ultimately to FINDU.COM

I am still learning about the whole APRS thing...I may be biting off more than I can chew...but I'm trying!  And...if there's a better way or a different source for the data (other than FINDU)  please give me some pointers.

Any help appreciated!!

You can start with the FINDU cgis here: http://www.findu.com/cgi.html, then search the list for "weather" to see all of the weather related ones.

I believe that Findu does not have a problem with small requests using their cgi functions, they just don't want an automated program crawling their site using large amounts of bandwidth, take a look at their terms of use.

The CGIs at FINDU arwe not exactly what I had in mind... I'm fairly sure I will be using these to actually read my data, but my end result (I'm hoping) is a stupid simple graphic like the Weather Picture hardware device http://www.peetbros.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=15 from Peet Bros.  I understand this is an add-on hardware device, but I would think (hope) that *somebody* has done something like that with software for a website with the FINDU data.  (I may be too wishful!)

In addition to this graphic, it would be nice to have line and text charts similar to what can be seen at: http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KCASARAT1

Can anybody point me to any contacts or websites with similar displays?
