Topic: i have a gost in my pc? testtags problem

Ciao to all from Raf...a new entry...

my ghost!..i have testtags and trend work well, are generated in the folder of wdisplay and uploaded
and all work well apparently.. now i have added tags to generate the record page... its all ok in the local testtags.php...but when is uploaded no any track!..

seem to read a standard sourge of this file but where?

i have see only 1 difference at the top of 2 file
on the file in wdisplay folder

for info i have make the 2file in special conversion and is on and i have on the ''ftp 29 file" to upload

any idea? whant any other info?...Ghostbuster search.!

What's the URL to your weather website?

Check c:\wdisplay\webfiles\testtags.txt .. that is the file that should have the V1.02 in it.

Check c:\wdisplay\webfiles\testtags.php .. it should be V1.02 also

If your website isn't showing the V1.02 testtags.php, then make sure your WD setup is correct, and you have a upload schedule set for file#29 in the Custom Internet Files section.

at the moment i have make only 1 new tags bfore 'general or non weather..' section

i have check .php and .txt in WD folder and is the same version..and workly in local

i hope wd setting ok..but.., tnx Raf

Your testtags.php at http://www.meteomasiera.it/testtags.php?sce=view seems to be updating just fine.  However,
the tags are not for the WD-World-ML template set, but an older tag configuration.

Your clientraw.txt at http://www.meteomasiera.it/clientraw.txt seems to be updating every 15 seconds or so.

I see what you mean in the three files in the .zip.
I suspect that the WD setting for the webfiles is not correct.
Check WD, WebFiles/WebPage, Web Files Setup#1 TAB
look at the right side of the dialog where it says 'Current webfiles location is:'
If the location displayed is not the one where the new testtags.txt is, press Set web files directory and change it to the correct location.

Your other settings panels look ok to me.

Ken,  1st i send a good bottle of red wine to make a good drink with you!..why?

today full immersion to find the problem!..and now i have the solution in hand !..but is my old mistrake!!!!

before of this template i have used a part of this ajax for my old page, and i have make my testtags in a wxlocal !! after the change.. mmm.. i dont have disable one conversion

now with this disabled finally its all ok!

Hi Raf!  I'm glad you solved the issue!!

I've discovered that WD has a lot of options since it has a lot of functionality .. it can lead to settings that inadvertently work at cross-purposes for you.  Been there, done that, got the T-shirt
