Attached is a general guide on integrating weeWX weather software with the weather34 web template adapted for weeWX by Ian Steeple. In this example, the weeWX server and the web server are on separate systems. The guide is also available here: https://github.com/steepleian/weather34-Home-Weatherstation-Template-WeeWX-adapted/blob/master/taylormia_remote_server_setup.pdf . AcuRite Weather Stations / Re: Altas Amazon Price History

That happens with pretty much anything on Amazon.  Even within a day I've seen prices move multiple times for an item.

AcuRite Weather Stations / Re: Did Amazon Pull the Atlas?

My UV only reports as high as 3.  At this time of year as the sun is lower in the horizon I guess it should be a lower UV level.  But the past two days have been completely clear and I would think it should be higher than a three at noon.  I'm too concerned about this reading but it would be nice to know if it is accurate.

On my ws2000 over the last week or so, on completely sunny days in Phoenix, I have had readings as high as 7 on the UV in the middle of the day...With the Atlas, I too never had a reading over 3..

If you are still using the Atlas, How is the temperature reading of ws2000 compared to Atlas ? Does it give a higher temperature than the Atlas during the day? I liked that the display of ws2000 shows the Min/Max temperature with the decimal numbers.

I wouldn't expect the temperatures to be anything but great on the Atlas compared to the WS-2000. The Atlas has a bigger radiation shield, it has a fan, and it has a better sensor than the WS-2000 (SHT31 vs SHT30). The only small issue I've heard about is that the Atlas display is doing some funky rounding and/or averaging (I'm sure this will be corrected with a firmware update at some point). But this issue doesn't affect the Access and online services.

Sorry, not using the Atlas anymore, returned it to Amazon..

AcuRite Weather Stations / Altas Amazon Price History
« Last post by galfert on Today at 08:14:46 AM »
Anyone care to speculate why the price for the Atlas on Amazon can't just stay and be the price? Why does the price have to change seemingly every day or two? Is that so that if you are on the fence you say to yourself, "Better buy it today because it will probably jump in price tomorrow?" Lots of things on Amazon play this game with price. But some things are just steady at whatever the price is forever. What compels Acurite to fluctuate the price...and by so little too?

I have had the notification that our data will be moved from 1.0 to 2.0.  I knew nothing about 2.0 and we only use the online data to A) download to weatherlink and B) put on our intranet.  this script is ideal to sort B) out so thank you.  Currently I get "File loaded from wl.com has no valid contents - program ends. Check your key settings." even with my DID, password and freshly generated API key.  Im assuming I need to wait until the transition to 2.0 has completed first (I can log into 1.0 and 2.0 at the moment).

EDIT - nevermind, I used the DID listed in weatherlink 1.0 and it works fine.  The DID listed in my weatherlink 2.0 is wrong (no idea why) so perhaps that will change when the migration happens (I only got the email this morning)
