Wh3080 with Meteohub
« on: June 04, 2017, 03:11:07 PM »
Hi!

I am thinking to buy the WH3080 weather station to use with Meteohub. I am especially interested for the UV and solar radiation.
Have any one some feedback for this weather station, about tha quality and so on.
Thanks in advance.

IMHO the Fine Offset stations are junk.   My first one started acting up within a few months; back to Costco for a full refund thankfully.  Others have had better luck.

Looking at the reviews, I'd avoid it like the plague. http://fineoffset.com/wh3081.htm

I have the sister mod WH2310 and I like it. Readings seem accurate and matched closely with my Vantage Pro2+. I don't run MeteoHub but instead Weather Display on a dedicated computer, one thing I've learned recently is it's best to keep the update interval 15 minutes or longer otherwise the logger will conflict with the data and cause problems with the USB communication.

I live in an apartment and for the moment am not a home weather watcher.

I am a storm chaser.

Thanks for the answers.

Anybody who knows about some TFA uv sensor?
I´ve got some signal from a sensor in my meteohub with that name.
