I miss the desert skylines when we were stationed at Kirtland AFB w/ the MH53Js.

We are not really in the desert.  Well ok, high desert.  About 5300 ft.  The skies are beautiful though.  Have you ever been through this area?  We are about 50 miles west of Silver City.

Beautiful area.  Closest to your locale was Elephant Butte dropping PJs and SEALs in the water.
