Nice view and excellent quality!

With so many new web cams showing up lately with picturesque views like yours, I'm too embarrassed to show mine...

Nothing wrong with yours Curly. It does exactly what a weather cam is supposed to do.  ;)

Never, ever feel embarrassed about something you put together with your own two hands and felt proud to do it.

I figured the canal was a better view than the street full of 1 1/2 year old for sale signs. ;-)

It's just that I prefer to looking at a picture with water or mountains in it.
Your vids look better to me because I'm use to looking at flatland with corn, soy beans and trees all the time.

You made a good choice. That is a fantastic view. Hey, can I hire you out to do landscaping? Nice, clean job!  ;)

Try living next to Nebraska or Kansas.

(Nothing against you folks over in NE or KS.... your tree looks great among the corn fields.  )

Yeah, but look at the kind of weather you get to see in Nebraska:

Regarding that "tree", umm ... Colorado wanted it back. :-(

P.S.  Tom:  Isn't Carter Lake, IA pretty much surrounded by Nebraska? Has the town considered seceding? ;)

Yes, on three sides... technically, we're in Nebraska, but it's a river basin with a hefty sized bluff.... the plain actually starts just outside Omaha, which is why 90% of the Nebraska population lives here and not out in the desert... er prairie.

The town fought in the US Supreme court to stay in Iowa... that's how bad Nebraska's taxes are!
