Storm looks like a sea urchin or porcupine
« on: April 28, 2017, 05:21:08 PM »
This afternoon about 4:30 pm local time a storm moving from southern Illinois up into Ohio was passing by one of the most dense collection of BO receivers, from Wisconsin, Michigan Ohio and to the south.  The poor thing looked like a sea urchin with all sorts of spines sticking out of it as almost all the stations were being used to track the strikes.  Pretty cool.

The storms running NW and N of Kentucky are pretty impressive tonight too (Friday 4/28).  177/minute at one point.  The station lines are really impressive!  Agree, very cool.
