Thanks, but nice storm going on in the gulf and I am in the right spot to get into the action, being just north of Houston.  :-). Will update when it is over.

I just updated both the RED and BLUE units. What means the target/bolt animation? Is it just something mesmerizing and cool  8-) to watch, or does it signify anything?

No, it doesn't mean anything. Clicking on it disables the animation, according to the post there.

My updates went slick, as usual.

I'm not sure about the throbbing lightning bolt.  Maybe it was a sort of 'I'm alive' indicator, but there are plenty of other things that one can watch to know the controller is working and your connection to it's web page generator is still OK.

Nice to turn it off, but I'm happy with the utilitarian view, impeccable function without glitz.  On the other hand if it indicated a packet sent or a strike detected, that might be worth the trouble and CPU cycles to make it function.

In any event, it is nice to see releases again.

I hope that he will eventually get the header in RED for RED systems and Blue for BLUE systems, since many of us have both running and I have to squint to see the little station numbers in the upper right corner.

Dale, have you power cycled your system after installing the new version?
The reason I ask is, I replaced my power supply after installing the new update. I then noticed my Amp stayed Red and had that sinking feeling, Ohh dang, blew something up. Did a UI reboot and it went to green. Swapped back to the old PS and the same thing happened. UI reboot and Amp was ok again.
Anyone else seen this?

Edit: I did not see this with version 8.3

Thanks

No, I haven't recycled the power.  The systems have been powered up for almost a year without cycling power.

I can try it I guess.  But I don't want to miss the big storm just south of me!  A few thousand miles south, that is.

I'll give it a whirl later today.

Dale, no need to do the test. I found this post today.

and appears to be the problem I  ran into.

Thanks
