I'm using 1and1.com and it wont FTP upload due to secure FTP..

I think I figured out what your talking about. Try using the IP address to ftp server instead of name.

I notice you are using 1.9.4.
I hung onto it too long, not taking the time to understand CumulusMX.
Been running MX 12 months+ now & love it.
Might be worth you considering the move as it seems to support secure FTP.

Yes Ping your host ftp server and the IP numbers will come in.
use CMD command
then Ping host server name
Ip address will show

How are you going to ftp if you don't have an address.
You also need a user name and password.

In Cumulus ftp settings use 104.20.14.105 as the address
Then put username and password where it goes
FTP port 22
directory will be where site is located try
/public_html
not working connect error

Don't know you need to contact them. They are using a secure SFTP server so not sure.

works fine on FileZilla its cumulus now .. and i just got Cumulus MX and it still doesn't wanna upload smh..

i tried this /homepages/26/d708177978/htdocs/ and still didnt work
not sure what this means but Cumulus MX is sayin web tag error see MXdiags file

You lost me there, you want to put cumulus files in directory it goes. Usually its /public_html How did you do it before?
Of course you need to setup cumulus also, mine looks like this, notice files are pointing at folder under public_html and where they come from.
You have cumulus setup I assume and you just changed server but if not mine looks like this so you need to read the cumulus help file and follow instructions how it's done.

mine was /home/mkutche/public_html with my old host i tired just /public_html/ and nothing. I even tried calling 1and1 support they are no help.

You need to figure out where your cumulus files are located and point to that folder I can't help there. Maybe another FTP program you can look at the root tree.

i'll just resort back to my old host.. spent almost 12 hrs tryin to figure it out ..

the only reason why i wanted to switch hosts was because something is causing http://gosportwx.com/wxnoaaproducts.php all these products NOT to update..
