Thunderbolt-Skyscan-NIMBUS4 Severe Weather Detector?
« on: June 01, 2016, 11:18:10 AM »
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Thunderbolt or Skyscan lightning detector products?  If so, what was the overall review?  We recently interviewed the creator of those, Edward Shaver, for our podcast as now he is developing a handheld severe weather detector called the NIMBUS4.  It's supposed to be able to detect conditions for squall lines and tornadoes and inform you how close (www.NIMBUS4.com).  He said some interesting claims on the podcast (www.StormFrontFreaks.com or search "Storm Front Freaks" on iTunes) and I was hoping someone had experience with his previous products.  I appreciate the feedback!

If anyone is interested, the folks that make the NIMBUS4 Severe Weather Detector http://www.nimbus4.com have agreed to give away one of their units valued at over $800 to one of our podcast listeners!  We have 2 more rounds of drawings before the winners of our 4 rounds advance to a final four drawing on August 11.  Our current episode (Episode 4 http://podcast.stormfrontfreaks.com) has the details on how to enter Round 3.  Send an email to questions@stormfrontfreaks.com and tell us why you like the show and you'll be entered in the Round 3 drawing! If interested, do it by 7/17.  Pass the info on to anyone else that you think would like the NIMBUS4 device.  Good luck!
