has anyone been able to capture a web image on the arlo system and upload it to weather underground
-
What is arlo?
-
arlo is a web cam arlo.com
Howevrer, digging, it isn't possible

Thanks for looking into it. The Arlo outdoor cam with the solar charger is a neat setup. That could make a good weather cam given you can mount it away from your main house since it doesn't need power.

I know this is an old post, but I have a new weatherstation….
I wanted a weathercam, but didn't feel like buying one, and I didn't want to worry about outside powering. So I have re-deployed one of my Arlo Pro cameras. Here's a snapshot (https://www.dropbox.com/s/gu09afewfl2d6yi/snapshot.jpg?dl=0). I'm still waiting for WU to approve my link, so it's not on my WU PWS page yet.
I am a little bit tech savvy, so I searched and found a Python script on GitHub that will take a snapshot with Arlo and download to a .jpg file. I made sure to execute the script in my dropbox folder which automatically syncs to the web, and the above link is the dropbox URL.
For scheduling, I used Windows task manager to run my Python script every 5 minutes.
Here is the GitHub location of the scripts: https://github.com/jeffreydwalter/arlo

It looks like you're still using the camera for security with the added task of a pic every 5 minutes? I'd be interested in how the affects the camera's battery life.
