Old ISS as extra Temp/Hum st on VP2. Possible?
« on: July 23, 2018, 02:36:54 PM »
I know this has probably been asked a 100 different ways, whether as extra solar or temp from an anemometer station. But I searched and can't find anything specifically about using an extra ISS as an additional Temp/Hum station.

I have a VP2 and I only have one ISS now and no additional stand-alone sensors. I have an extra ISS board and housing with a solar cover, an SHT31 temp/Hum sensor and a radiation shield that I'd like to put in another location and read on the console as an extra station. Is this possible?

Is this possible?

No problem - just receive it as extra T/H. (But remember you'll only see integer °F temperatures)

Thanks John !

You would set it up as 2nd Temp and 2nd Hum in Weatherlink Setup, correct?

Yes, but more important set the console to receive it as extra T/H on the console on whatever (different) channel you have the old ISS set to.
