Just glad this is rare to have ice storm. Both my stations froze.

It always amazes me that they stop so abruptly during an ice storm, even during significant wind.

Did the vanes freeze as well? My Davis sets usually do, but the RM Young vane seems to be immune. (the "propeller" for speed is a different story)

It is a good thing that the wind set is made out of black plastic, so it has a chance to melt in the sun.

Yes both units vanes froze too. :lol:  Everything at once stopped.  Tomorrow 40 degrees so should thaw out. This was my first real ice storm in 4 winters, thank goodness they are rare here.
