When did the davis WeatherLinkIP come out?
« on: January 01, 2018, 12:18:36 PM »
I don't think it was out when i bought my USB logger,

Also how would this logger work with WD, Cumulus etc since it does not need to be connected to a PC to work?

I have no idea when the IP logger came out, but I have been using one for six years. The programs you mentioned will link to the logger through the network. If the PC is on the network where the logger is connected, the data is downloaded through the network.

if you use a fixed IP then it could even be used across the internet
if you have it set to upload to weatherlink.com then the data is also available in xml form that the 3rd party programs use
(but that is going to be changed to a new api by the sounds of it)
