How well does putting a THGR810 into a Davis solar radiation shield work?

Judging from the customer photos and commentary on amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Davis-Instruments-Solar-Radiation-Shielding/dp/B000WXKNM0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1379729581&sr=8-1&keywords=davis+radiation+shield), the THGR810 would fit inside the Davis 7714.

How well would the 7714 keep solar radiation from affecting the THGR810?
Would the 7714 keep out the rain well enough that the THGR810 electronics wouldn't fail or yield faulty measurements?
