Weather and Headaches - saw on CNN
« on: December 18, 2013, 10:35:00 AM »
did anyone else see this?
http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/17/health/upwave-headaches-weather/index.html

My mother would always get a headache days in advance of a storm.  For a while while I would get a migraine as well and that is when I started to get interested in the weather.   They went away but within the past year they are back, not severe but just back.

We've always known that teenage boys for some reason do not follow the norm of things.   I told my granddaughter a truth (of sorts) all boys have cooties.

She then responded, "you were a boy, do you have cooties?"  to that , the many years of teaching science paid off " No, when a boy gets to the age of 21, they drop off and jump on a younger kid and breed, that is why you hear boys saying 'I can't wait until I am 21.' "

Oh   the weather headaches could be a pressure difference, now where that pressure is, could be in the skull expanding ever so slightly.  I guess someone would really need to be able to measure those things.  Same thing goes for people with various body parts hurting in different weather patterns.

The real headache is the glee one of the local TV forecasters has in reporting bad weather.  The man really look happy in a sick way.

Or maybe the headache is from arguing about SLP vs ALT pressure?  And now they have to consider internal cranial pressure?
