Hey everyone
My dir 505 came in a few days ago.
I flashed the dir to meteobridge, connected it to My router, got the IP and configured it. When I unplug the 505 from the router, I can no longer find it via IP. I went over everything over and over again, then decided just to unplug the router and 505 for a little bit. Now, when I plug everything in, nothing works. I can't even get to my router settings with the 505 plugged in. I can't use Wi-Fi at all with the 505 plugged in. As soon as I unplug the 505, the router works again.
Any ideas how to fix this and how I can get it working? I would be more than happy to start over, but I don't know how to re flash it.
Thanks

This explains the boot-sequence and how to reset the MB back to as it was after the flash.
Then you can start over at "got the IP and configured it. "
If you do not want to have it cabled to your router you should set it to use your WLAN
http://meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Setup_Network
Do not set it to a fixed IP address but use DHCP, that way you can always find it.
This link will always work when you do not know the ip: http://magicip.meteobridge.com/
It shows all MB devices in your LAN, more info http://meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Getting_Started
Flash Again is described at the bottom of this WiKi page:

Thanks for the info!! I did set it to WLAN. That was sort of my issue. My problem was, I didn't realize it actually was working properly, but I had it set to WLAN (like I wanted), but still had it wired, so that caused my issues. Working now! Thanks!!
