Might be something brewing in the western Caribbean the end of the month.
-
Maybe.
Surprised there hasn't been more action but this is going to spin up off our first true cold front, (WooHoo) so we'll have to wait and see as usual.
Have to say though it's been a very wet October. This is climatologically speaking the driest month of the year. It's the only one in 13 years of record keeping that I have had 0 precipitation for the month.

And it begins.

Plots looking like they are settling down a little bit. Should miss Florida but will bring some heavy rain south of Fort Myers.

Yeah, an extreme south Florida event. I'll be on the subsidence side as it goes by so not expecting much here.
Unless, it doesn't have much pole-ward movement then the front might not pick it up.
So far it doesn't seem to be moving much.

Soon to be Philippe? Big jump to 80% probability!

Looks like just a good rain event for you down there. Was hoping it might get up this way but rain chances are almost nill up here.
Enjoy your last blast.

Currently heavy rains Fort Myers south. Rain is reaching up to the Tampa area. Fast mover and will be out of the area by Sunday, heading up off the east coast maybe battering the NE.
