Anyone else see this or try it? My site seems to load a little faster, but i'm confused
on what it actually does for your website.

Noticed this service this morning....

I'm not sure how much of a benefit there will be for a dynamic site, especially one that updates very frequently after all the whole point of being dynamic is to present current data when the visitor hits the site.

The description includes:

Quote
which will fetch your content from your servers, rewrite your webpages, and serve them up from Google's own servers around the world

If your website is dynamically loading, it is possible they won't keep refetching it and visitors may end up getting older versions of the dynamic contact.

Not really sure as I have not tried it myself.

Which site are have you setup?  Your DNS for cnyweather.com isn't pointed at the google CDN to work with it.

To use the service, you have to first request access, then make changes to your DNS (you setup a CNAME record that points at Google, which then points at you) to use the service for people to view your site through it.

I requested an account to try it, but have not yet seen a response.

This will also end up being a paid service.... not free.  I don't see many weather websites doing this.

Looks similar to CloudFlare https://www.cloudflare.com/
Great for static sites/blogs...not so much for dynamic/weather sites.
