Today's woot is for a LaCrosse WA-1030U which is a wall-mounted LCD displaying your local forecast. You need an always-on Internet connection, and a router/gateway, then you connect the included wireless transmitter/receiver to your LAN and it delivers the data to your LCD, anywhere in your home (within 300feet). No subscription fees unless you want some added services like more than one reporting location, or severe weather alerts. There's indoor temp, and a wireless outdoor sensor also.
Apparently you can join theweatherclub.com and Upload your location data to its national database.
Looks like fun, I've gone for it. Can't have too many weather gizmos!
