Topic: godaddy webhosting help

I have uploaded everything to /home/gosportinwx/public_html/ (www) - The public_html directory contains the files for your site. Files in public_html and any subdirectories of public_html will be viewable by anyone on the internet.. (/home/gosportinwx/www/ is the same directory as /home/gosportinwx/public_html/). and www.gosportwx.com says 403 the heck am i doing wrong???

Did you just move from another host? If so, the DNS process isn't instant.

3 hrs ago i went with GoDaddy bout an hour after a custom index page was posted sayin coming soon thanks GoDaddy.. wish e-rice wasn't closing... this is nuts!

So you uploaded your index page.. .was it .htm, .html or .php?  And did you remove their own index page if there was one?

yup i added my own said website coming soon..

Don't you need to upload everything into /public_html (like web was on e-rice) as that is where godaddy will be looking for index.php?

yep did all that i can now see what i uploaded now i got to fix the broken links lol

It takes a while to download, but I can see it on my end. Two webcams not showing.

ok thanks might be the DNS still validating or something and not all files are uploaded yet.. am in the process in uploading.. as for the site taking awhile to load idk how to fix that.. gotta be a godaddy issue..

so i figured out why the site loads slow on my cpanelX on godaddy it is saying the CPU usage is already at 100% the heck !!! how can i reduce this????

I just checked out the main link and it was working, tried a few random pages and they all seem to be in order.  Tried the tweet-forecast and got some basic info but since I'm not well-versed in Twitter I don't really know what it should look like. 

At least now I know what I'm getting into when I go to get my web hosting and set up my website.  Looks like TONS of fun...

it is a real pain in the butt as i said before I've dealt with alot of websites in my time but this was by far the worst.. and what i find weird is some are seeing my website and some arent.. can anyone tell me why?? lol .. this is bout to drive me to drinking lmao!
