We have picked up almost 12 inches of rain over the course of this month, most of it falling withing the past week! The ground is very saturated to say the least! Rivers are running very high, almost as high as they did during snow-melt season about a month ago.
We are currently having a pretty strong thunderstorm! No hail yet, but we are in a Special Weather Statement here in North Turner for strong thunderstorms over our area with hail, frequent cloud to ground lightning, and torrential rain being the main threats!
Oh ya and I forgot to mention temps are currently sitting in the low to mid 50's!!
