Okay, I did send an email to cwop-support@noaa.gov telling them the data was flowing and I had verified my coordinates on findu.com. Didn't specifically request registration, so I will resend the email asking for that. Anyway, it was only yesterday that I sent the email so I suspect it is mainly a time issue. I also read somewhere that some of these station data bases are updated only weekly, so it could still take a few days.
Thanks for the help.
I Don't know if it's changed since, but when I registered my station ~4 years ago, it took a couple of days to get a response.
I am pretty sure that they run a quality check before they start reporting it.
That was the next thing I was going to mention...
Even after Getting the registration confirmation email it took another day or two to for my station to pass the QC checks, then it wasn't until after midnight that it showed-up on the maps.
The MADIS servers (at least used to) update their
"Station List Database" (I guess you could call it) after midnight, so you won't see your station on their maps until the day after it gets the "Green Check Mark" from the QC system. But, It maybe even longer if your saying you read somewhere that some of the databases get updated on a weekly basis.
Anyway, I think the main issue is that you hadn't registered your station yet. So, after you get that done I suggest waiting at least a week for their systems to update before getting concerned about it not showing-up on the maps. If its still not showing-up after a week then we will need to start looking at the QC stuff...
I Don't know if you've seen this page:
