It's good to have a window because sometime you will need to see if the figures on the weather station is right  :lol:

Actually, it's an alcove in the hallway.  I've never measured it, but I'd guess 8' X 4'.  It's where all the wires ended up, so that's where I put the computer.  The weather stations came later, and the rest is history.

Yes it took me the whole day to do that, it's not just the moving of the window, ohh sorry the desk it's all the other boring things like all the cabels, and so on

looks like Santa, or a boxing day/week sale (at least that's what we call post xmas sales in Canada) helped move that old samtron CRT to the curb...

I know, I was out yesterday and to see what they are selling 19 or 22"s for these days, I was considering a second monitor, especially now that those usb 2.0 to vga adapters for having 2 screens have come down as well.  I am doing my best to stimulate the economy personally...

We have dual screens at work now, and it is very cool and actually does increase productivity....  but at home its just cool.

You might be on to something :)  I just have the one wide screen monitor here now..but I got lots of CRT monitors down stairs in the shop..
Uh oh..my wheels are turning again..the wife's gonna be ticked :)
