Davis Temp station for "soil temp" on WU
« on: July 28, 2015, 11:10:27 AM »
Is there a way to spoof Wunderground so that the "soil temp" data shows on the page without an actual leaf/soil station? I have a Davis VP2 station configured as an ISS via Envoy8x that gives the rain data along with temperature that I just added. This sensor is buried for soil temperature.

I see on the "Upload of local weather data to Weather Networks" (Weather Networks tab) there is an option to add additional temperature sensors, none of which are showing up on WU. What is the trick to get WU to take this extra sensor data?

The sensor is currently named "Soil at NovaLynx", since the NovaLynx rain gauge is also interfaced to this transmitter. Will a sensor name change work?
