Bad memory leak
« on: November 20, 2006, 11:08:30 AM »
I use WsWin32 to generate my Screensaver and hourly MP3 Weather update file however WsWin32 would freeze up almost hourly and the memory usage would jump past 150 MB and sometimes lock up the PC as well. Thanks to StartWatch though WsWin32 is closed and restarted if the Memory reaches 125 MB. Is anyone here using WsWin32 and if so do you experience the same problem?

I think WsWin32 is an excellent program otherwise and if you like graphs and charts it is well worth the price.  http://www.crewe-weather.com/ws/

This is the program that can run on top of WeatherLink right?

I run the trial version about a year ago until it expired.  I don't recall it ever locking up on me.  Though as I recall it only run three days continuous before it expired.

Yes, I having taking the data from the Weatherlink data file but with VirtualVP it is possible to get the data directly. I have it locking up every hour when the MP3 file is generated. Guess I can bump StartWatch up to 175 MB, currently set to 125 MB and since I use it for among other things to generate my screensaver images I'll keep it going.
