Same here with the "mostly men on stations here". An advantage with that though is you can look at the charts and maps they're referring to. :-)

I came into our den the other night and TMZ was on.  I missed the first part of the segment but I think, may be wrong, but it seemed they were talking about a calendar of TV weather-girls and they were talking about how hot they are getting and it seems to be the top job requirement for them is to be really gorgeous!

Makes sense if you think about it.  This way they don't have to worry if their forecast is way off... :-)

Wife: "Honey what did the news say the weather would be like tomorrow?"
Husband: "Weather?  Weather who???"
Larry
"But it's a DRY Heat!"

Unfortunately, she cain't talk too purdy guud.  She stumbles and stammers and babbles and rambles.  That's OK when you first get started, but she's been there long enough now to have gotten over the stage fright.

So, I just hit the Mute button and watch her point at the graphics.

Doesn't do the weather (yet), but she's started anchoring the weekend broadcasts. Oh, if I were only 30 yrs younger!

Just found out she's gone.  Hadn't even realized it since I don't watch a lot of broadcast TV any more.

Apparently she moved to Kansas.  (Who does that?)

This gal was not bad on the eyes AND she was a hurricane hunter. You can't beat that!

Better chances at longer hours because of severe weather.  Many top notch meteos move to Kansas and Oklahoma because of the threat of severe weather.
