Hello

What software produces the best-looking graphs?

What do you think?

This is a sample from my weather station(VWS):

Post a sample from your station so we can compare, please show the sample directly in this topic.

I use the data in MS Excel and get very nice and meaningful graphs.    http://desmoinesweather.org/weatherdata/index.html

Actually Jachym's Meteotemplate does a pretty good job too.  http://www.komokaweather.com/j-template/plugins/extendedGraphs/index.php

Weatherlink in my opinion has the best graphs.
Really it's the only reason I use it.

For my website I use VWS (with a little tweaking, they look very nice), and as ocala mentioned the WeatherLink graphs are great for personal use (I use them for Facebook posts) and it's one of the reasons I have VWS set to launch WeatherLink each night to archive my data.

I have something very similar in my template, I guess we both use Highcharts for this, though it must be mentioned that both mine and the example you give, are not really a "SW", it is a web application and runs in a browser.

I still really like the view produced by GraphWeather.  There is an English version, although it has most of it's documentation in French.

A bit difficult to grasp and get all the stuff set correctly, and I'm still working on it, but for me it was love at first sight.

I STILL prefer to use Microsoft Excel.  I maintain a huge amount of data back to 2000.  I can actually change how my graphs look, analyze the data for myself and others, put that on my website monthly. It is more meaningful to me that way to actually deal with the numbers, rather than have the software do the work for me.

I really am not concerned if anyone looks at the data, the trends, etc, but it is there anyway.

I am a geek, no shame in that.  I am retired science guy,  I love crunching numbers, analysis of data.

You do what makes you happy.  I am out of here.

I agree.  8-) But hey, to each his/her own  :-) I use to like Cumulus's simple graphs, but I would +1 for Jachym's template now.  :-)

  Thanks

Looking forward to help you set up your MT site as we already discussed earlier ;)

It is really nice to see people like it. Just this week I have already set up 3 new sites for users who never had any site before and tonight I already have a chat scheduled on Skype with another user from L.A. I uploaded all the files to his new domain earlier today and at night (his afternoon...) we will go through the set up and I will show him how to install the blocks, plugins and how to use it in general.

Also, many of these people had zero experience with creating a website prior to installing Meteotemplate and very quickly they understood how it works, so given you already have your own site it will be a piece of cake for you Farmtalk (not to mention the fact that some of these people don´t know a word in English, so they were not even able to use the wiki, which obviously wont be a problem for you - hopefully, assuming you will understand my English LOL)

I'm still partial to the WU graphs and ease of finding data on prior dates and its all saved on their server. With rapid-fire running it saves data every 5 minutes automatically and with the scroll line you can easily pinpoint whats going on at any given 5 minute moment on all weather parameters. Hard to beat, even excel can't do that with any kind of ease.
