Ken is there a way to add this? It shows yearly rain so why not show yearly wind gusts?

Hi,

This would be a nice addition to the dashboard.

There are a couple things comes to my mind are that might be considered:

1. There two authors of dashboard that I know of, Ken and Scott.

2. Does the weather software (testtags) have the data for the year high gust?

Just some of my thoughts....

Thanks for providing an important clue, mackbig.  In the ajax-dashboard6.php file you can go down to around lines 878 to 883 where there are a couple of file names to replace the letter "m" with 'y" and one place to change "This Month" to "This Year."  You can also make a duplicate to keep this month's gust while observing to properly  follow table structure.  While admittedly, I'm no coding expert, so I can only assume this is the correct way to make changes desired.

Would this be right?

</tr>
              <tr>
                <td class="data3" nowrap="nowrap">Year: </td>
                <td class="data3" nowrap="nowrap" style="font-size: 12pt; text-align: right; ">
              <?php echo " " . $yrecordwindgust . $uomWind; ?>
              <?php echo substr($monthname,0,3) . " " . $yrecordhighgustday; ?>

              <?php echo substr($monthname,0,3) . " " . $yrecordhighgustday; ?>
            </td>

Actually, that will make it always the current month, you would need to use something like this:

Code: [Select]
              <tr>
                <td class="data1" nowrap="nowrap"><?php langtrans('Year Gust:'); ?></td>
                <td class="data1" nowrap="nowrap" style="font-size: 9px; text-align: right; ">
              <?php echo " " $yrecordwindgust $uomWind?>
              <?php echo $yrecordhighgustmonth "/" $yrecordhighgustday?>
            </td>

No real quick way to make that change in the current code, will have to put in a function for it.  I'm working on that change too.

I had to take my yearly wind gust down, because for some unknown reason it was showing the wrong date of the gust or two days ahead of today's date.
