find-metar for more than 20 stations
« on: October 23, 2016, 06:33:50 PM »
Question for Ken, but I thought I'd post it in case someone else wants to do the same thing.

I want to add one more METAR station to my list (happens to be Mt. Washington, so for obvious reasons) but if I run the find-metar script and expand the radius, it still stops after 20 stations (72 within the 150 mi range I gave).

Is there any way to tweak the script that I'm not seeing to get more stations out, or is the code available somewhere so I can tweak it on my own?

Thanks!

(the only real reason I need the script is to get the distance/direction correct)

The '20' limit was hard-coded into the script.  I've now got /wxtemplates/find-metar-100.php that will return the top 100 METAR near you.  Is that enough?
