We're going to install a storm shelter, too.  Living in a double-wide can be exciting at times!  Hopefully, time in the shelter will be kept to a minimum.  And, hopefully soon I'll have some $$.

It's been a while since I've addressed the subject, but we are slowly but surely getting the root cellar established in the storm shelter.  I will be running an extension cord out there so I can have a light or maybe small heater to use in extremely cold weather to keep it above freezing inside.

Do you have cell phone coverage from inside there? Just a thought about having outside contact while pinned up in there. Hope it never comes down to that though.

Hopefully the time spent inside (if ever) would be limited to 10-20 minutes until the storm passes.
