I came across this cool tool today and thought I would pass it along. This site lets you create a toolbar visitors can download and install on their computer giving them instant access to your pages.

Add icons and links from your toolbar to specific pages of interest so users have one-click access to your most popular pages. You can even provide a link to your RSS feed if you have one.

The completed toolbar does not display advertising or include spyware/malware/viruses.

I tried it out today and created my own toolbar. The site even provides a selection of banners you can use to promote your toolbar. Downloads are handled by the company site, so there is no additional strain on bandwidth if you have limits. The company also tracks of the number of downloads for your toolbar so you know how popular your toolbar becomes.

Althought he bizbar is a nice idea, It doesn't seem to work well in IE7 with Vista.  I got reports of IE crashing on closing, etc.  

There are other very similar alternatives including Conduit.  I much prefer the Conduit version and features, and it seems to have fewer issues so far.  

Any other feedback on this type of promotion?
