LW301. wgr800 disconnects
« on: April 02, 2015, 06:15:12 AM »
Hi
Thanx for this fine forum!

I recently bought LW301, witch I set up yesterday.
I got contact with all sensor right away, but after an hour the WGR800 wind sensor gets
disconnected. I then need to reset all devices and connect again, but after an hour again, it the
wind sensor gets disconnected.

I am now out of clues. Does any of you have an solution? All help on this I would be thankfull!!

Regards
Gartner

Sounds like a problem of poor signal reception by the console. The sensors themselves usually transmit with adequate power levels, but the consoles sometimes seem to have problems with less than ideal internal antenna designs. Not everyone experiences these problems but it sounds like you might be seeing this.

If the wind sensor is on the roof and you have the console inside directly underneath it, try moving the console somewhere else.

Try searching the OS hardware section of WxForum for "reception" and see if anything there helps -- it might be a post on WMR100, WMR200 or other console but it may give you an idea or two to try out.

Good Luck!
