My Vantage Pro2 in Republic WA
« on: June 04, 2018, 07:26:08 PM »
I've had my station up and running for about a month now, I added a daytime fan kit and I also took my extra solar panel and got another housing for it and a couple of extra fan cables and hooked everything up to the fan. So far it works great and has better performance than the single solar panel. [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

What is the anemometer height?  I think your station looks great. I have had mine up for 9 days.

Nice setup, however, if you're very critical of your temp/hum readings(like I am), that red fence directly below your station might lead to some higher temps when the sun is out. Might want to consider painting it, but that's just me.

So far I haven't had any issues with it, I always have a pretty good breeze around it. It's really the only good location I have, I pay close attention to the temps also and I haven't seen any issues with it. I guess I will have to wait and see over time.

BTW, your scenery looks amazing and at least your station is around alot of vegetation it appears to help keep things cooler.

Lots of nice views around here, I really like the Republic area. Living in the mountains is nice but a pain in the winter. LOL
