Fixing bad data
« on: June 10, 2014, 09:18:02 AM »
Sun I did some maintenance on my station, cleaning and installed a new fan and batteries for my FARS.  I forgot to pull the temp/humid connector when I pulled the rain bucket connector from my instrument pack.  Well my temp peaked 109.9 and I wish to kill the data recorded during the maintenance.  How the heck do I do this?

Been There! If you open VWS, go to 'Settings" .  In the drop down menu, click on "Recall Daily, Monthly, and Yearly Archive'.  A box will come up with bin files for years (i.e. 2014.bin) .  Double clicking on the Day, Month or Year that the error occurred will bring up a box that you can modify the values.  That will correct it...for the most part. This only happened to me once, last year, and I think I had to go to one more area.  I will look through the program now, but that is where I started.  Let me know how you make out!
