If anyone wishes to compare a Davis VP2+ aspirated to an Acu-Rite 5-in-1 sensor aspirated with the Acu-Link Web Bridge look at these two sites:
http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KGALEXIN1 VP2
http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KGALEXIN3 5-IN-1
Note:  The KGALEXIN3 location is listed as Comer Road but it is actually mounted 5 feet from the KGALEXIN1.  I opened the new account listing the future Comer Road site of the Acu-Rite equipment.
Al Washington, Lexington, Ga.,  NWS Coop station=LXTG1, Fischer Porter, SRG, MMTS.
CoCoRaHS=GA-OG-1. CWOP=CW2074.  Davis VP2+ WLIP 5.9.2, VP(original) serial, VWS v15.00 p02. ImageSalsa, Win7 & Win8 all-in-one.

Hey as these work in the 433 mhz range - can anyone tell us if the collectors will work with the Oregon Scientific base station that collects data?

I am thinking of buying some of these Acu-rite devices and want to know if they may work with our existing system.

I know that it is a shot in the dark -but if anyone knows anything - cool!

Only the frequency is the same, the protocol and components, etc., are all different. Acu-Rite products only work with other Acu-Rite products.
