Interwarn?
« on: June 17, 2012, 12:15:51 PM »
tried to get on the Interwarn site and got a can't connect error from several different browsers.   Same with trying to get weather data to update?

Anyone hear anything?

Ah, so that's why my Interwarn doesn't want to work anymore? Is the "StormLab" radar program down as well? I tried to power it up a bit ago and it made my computer shut off!  :!:

seems anymore that I am flipping back and forth between my Weatherdisplay warnings and Interwarn.  I am wondering if that last rain storm went through his area and knocked him off line.

I am not able to get to his website either

WXMesg.com - Weather Message Software is the product.

I am not ready to buy more software.  I went for the Iphone 4s and then upped to a morphie juice pack case and battery.

What i did and should do is use the update from Weatherdisplay's warning system as I did in the mean time.   I need to finish cleaning the basement out and the restart my basement computer.

I did go back over my interwarn logs and it was about 12:30 pm  when the error messages started.

If you're using EMWIN internet ingest it shouldn't matter as there are several servers that serve up the EMWIN stream.  If one goes off line it should switch.  That's what WXMesg and RealEMWIN both do.

I see that Interwarn says it can uses the EMWIN stream also but does it offer the option of the internet stream or does it offer multiple servers as a redundancy?
