I posted about Pixel when it first came out. My Pi 3 was ok with Jessie but wifi and bluetooth were a bit of a problem getting connected. After I switched it to Pixel, wifi and bluetooth connected as easily as Win10. The Pi3 seems to run better using Pixel as well. Now there is a version for PC's and Macs. What if you had an old 486 computer laying around ? You could load up Pixel and breathe new life into it.
