Need help with validation
« on: October 16, 2012, 02:59:34 AM »
I'm using a VP2, WeatherLink and Ken's "Saratoga" scripts to run my website.  I'm still tweaking and changing things and have an issue.  I changed the regional Radar image to an image/link I like but the link is filled with &s and =s and will not validate.  I assume it's expecting &amp in place of the &, but this will screw up the link.  What do I need to do to fix this? I've been using this image for years now & I like all of the customizations you can do with it.

My HTML/php/css skills are pretty much non-existant...    ](*,)  I ran my site with the basic WeatherLink templates for a few years, and I'm now trying to update to something more modern.

My website is www.rkb2.com

The link to the radar is...

http://radblast.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/radar/WUNIDS_composite?centerlat=39.41603851&centerlon=-84.98117828&radius=150&type=N0R&frame=0&num=9&delay=15&width=640&height=480&newmaps=1&r=1277046303&smoothing=1&noclutter=1&rainsnow=1

Thanks,
Roger

Hi Roger,

No problem, I learnt that from Ken! Anything with validation I should be able to help with, so if you have any more errors I am here to help! :D

Hi Will,

I'm trying to add another element and started another topic on it.  It's probably another simple fix, but I'm having trouble working it out.  It's located here...  http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=16952.0

Thanks,
Roger

Hi Roger,

Sorry, but I'm in the UK so I don't use the NWS forecast so I can't help here, and it's nothing to do with validation...
