Davis Leaf Wetness sensor/station
« on: November 21, 2014, 01:58:08 PM »
I have a Davis leaf wetness station on order...should be here in a week or so.  The question I have is pretty simple, and I haven't been able to clear it up in the user's manual.  If I only connect a leaf wetness sensor to the unit (and NO temperature sensor), will the station calculate ET rate using the reported temperature from the ISS?  I do have a SS temperature sensor coming too, but have wondered how best to mount it, or if it is even necessary for ET rate readings. ](*,)

Thanks in advance for any advice!
Greg

you need a solar sensor for et.  leaf wetness  has nothing to do with it.

Hit the "2nd" button then "BAR". This will display Evapotranspiration.
I live in an apartment and for the moment am not a home weather watcher.

I am a storm chaser.
